Our main practice here at Boulevard Baptist Church is expository preaching. That means we preach through books of the Bible. We may also at times preach a thematic series, particularly on theology. In either case, expository preaching is preaching that considers the main point of the text to be the main point of the sermon. As such, expository preaching is deeply rooted in God’s Word. Its aim is to cover the whole counsel of God’s Word as the main diet of the people of God, always seeking to show how all of Scripture points to Christ and His work.
